BEHOLD!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

Feels great to be able to get over my art slump. I just couldn't get rid of this cloud of depression that's been lingering over me since graduating college... with new developments as of late, that lingering anxiety and dread is finally over.

Maybe I just needed some time away from things. Who knows? I feel like my old self again.

I've never been as excited about a movie like this for ages. Seeing how Henry Selick rarely does a film, especially with his impressive track record, I have yet to see one of his movies that I don't like. I absolutely love stop/clay-mation films.

Dolls with button eyes make me nervous.

With what Jaws did for water, and what Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho did for showers, Coraline made buttons scary.

Now the term "Cute As A Button" means something TOTALLY different.

So who else saw it?
